To the Kids In The Kibera Slums Nairobi Kenya
Welcome to the Fountain of Hope Initiative, the office of family assistance that supports low-income working families through child care financial assistance and promotes children’s learning by improving the quality of early care and education and after school programs.”
We at the Fountain of Hope Initiative have been motivated by our inner caring spirit for the next generation and we decided to organise ourselves in helping the rejected youth and incapable parents by promoting health facilities, education, clothing, feeding and providing shelter for the needy. We decided to start first of all in ‘Kibera’ slums Nairobi Kenya, where life looks difficult and deplorable.

We at the Fountain of Hope Initiative, our mission and primary goal is to help those of the less fortunate by improving their quality of life while always remembering to respect their dignity.
Fountain of Hope Initiative‘ main objectives is to meet to the true needs of children who are either orphaned or poor or psychologically depressed or are un-able to pursue their education by providing both financial and mental support irrespective of race, color and creed. We have a vision of promoting education because half of the population of Kibera slums in Nairobi is under the age of 15 and at least one-half of the children do not see through to graduate at the secondary school level.
Fountain of Hope Initiative has a vision of eradicating poverty and ignorance in Kibera-Nairobi-Kenya at a rate of 90% by the year 2015.

No one has ever broken down Kibera for me like that. It opens a whole new page and plants an urge in my body to do something. What i have read has moved me. Am glad i came across this site.

Its been a long time coming that the plight of the residents of Kibera was known to the whole world.Being a kenyan raised in this slum full of life and experiences,i say kudos to Abdul and the crew.I can see the once known ‘City within a City’ rising from the ashes….
